Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.  (Isaiah 55:11, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  (John 10:30, John 14:7-16, Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26-27, I Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.  (John 1:14, Colossians 2:9, Hebrews 1:1-3, Hebrews 9:28)
  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. That we are saved by Grace, through Faith.  (Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Galatians 2:8-9, Ephesians 1:7)
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.  (John 14:26, John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8, Romans 8:26, Galatians 5:22-24)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.  (1 Corinthians 15:49-52, Philippians 3:20-21)
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.  (1 Corinthians 1:10, Ephesians 4:1-3, Philippians 2:2)
  • We believe in the assurance of salvation for every believer through the shed blood of Christ who atones for our sins for all time. (Ephesians 1:13, Jude 1:24, Hebrews 7:25, John 10:29)
